Performer and choreographer Emma Chrispin brings an exciting and vibrant workshop to LiveWell Kew.
Especially designed for children aged 9-13 years, her theatrically-inspired choreographic workshop focuses on creativity, collaboration and fun!
In the sessions, children will be introduced to choreographic tools, like the use of ‘cannons’, pauses, repeats, mirrors and more to help them create their own work and develop their ideas.
They will work in small group settings and develop skills such as listening, collaboration and interpretation.
But the benefits don’t end there. This workshop will help your child to develop other key life skills such as coordination, strength, expression and communication. It will provide an opportunity to fully engage and focus, whilst having lots of fun.
Emma advises that children should bring a pencil and notebook, and wear trainers and clothes they can move in easily.
Emma Chrispin has 13 years’ experience as a talented dancer performing in the West End, in shows like Anything Goes, Chicago, Cats and Fosse. More recently, she has been increasingly involved in choreography in France and the UK.
