babyballet® Tinies: 18 months – 3 years

The Tinies class introduces younger children to the basics of ballet using movement, play and song. It develop their physical and communication skills in a fun-filled, lively environment.

Parents are still very much involved, as the children learn to move in time to the music whilst stimulating their imaginations and learning to count through song.

babyballet® Movers: 3 – 5 years  

The Movers class encourages preschool children to combine their imaginations with dance using movement and song.

The preschool years are crucial in your little one’s development. Our Movers class focuses on the further physical development of your child through dance, in combination with the use of imaginative storytelling.

It is more than just dancing – it also gives children the chance to learn valuable skills by responding positively to both the teacher and the other children in the class.

In class, we use a variety of fun props – all provided – including, scarves, instruments, spots and of course the babyballet® characters.

Children should wear something comfortable that allows them to move and are required to dance in ballet shoes, socks with grips or bare feet. A range of dance wear and ballet shoes are available from the babyballet® shop.

SATURDAYS at LiveWell Kew:

Tinies (18 mths – 3 years) 10:00 – 10:35

Movers (3-5 years) – 10:45 – 11:20

Thereafter classes £8.50, payable by direct debit.

Meet Miss Jasmine…

Hello! I am delighted to be teaching babyballet® classes at Kew.

I began dancing at three years old in Bournemouth studying ballet, tap and modern and have just graduated with a First Class Honours in BA Dance from Roehampton University.

I have enjoyed competing in dance competitions all my life and during my studies I taught classes for petite performers, where I discovered a love for teaching little ones.

Now, I can’t wait to share my love of dance with your little people!
